Many stressing stimuli affect our organism on a daily basis: constant time pressure, traffic, exorbitant use of mobile phones as well as television and radio, among others, overexcite the nervous system. The latter, however, is crucial for our health since it controls the balance of vital functions like heartbeat, breath, digestion, etc. 


The japanese scientist Yoshifumi Miyazaki, profesor of Chiba University in Japan, discovered that we can reduce our stress level by 13,4% only by watching a tree or green plant. In the same way meditation stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system which helps us to relax and calm down.


This means that walking in nature as well as meditation bring great benefits in order to maintain the essential biological balance. By combining walking and meditation and adding breath work and awareness of the surrounding we receive a powerful tool for our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
